Handmade zine produced by Making Ends Meet. This issue explores our emotional relationship with clothes, the history of cotton and the designed obsolescence we encounter in fashion garments.
Four individual booklets bound by hand with a fabric cover cut from scraps generated in the making of clothing samples for Making Ends Meet. The edges of the fabric covers are left raw and intended to fray as the publication is handled by the reader. This designed flaw is a conceptual representation of the damage aesthetics we find in fashion clothing.
