About the initiative
Many of the prints produced here take a critical stance on issues such as climate, gender equality and social justice. Rather than profiteering from these problems, an essential aspect of the business model is to work towards solving the problems put forward in the artwork. The prints in the shop labelled as Fundraising Design are doing exactly that and a percentage of each sale is sent to charities & organisations relevant to the cause. This way, a poster becomes a tool for developing a discussion, as well as sending the resources needed to alleviate the problem being discussed.
Praxis Typography will make the charity donation on the customer's behalf using money from the purchase. The proof of donation will be passed on the customer with the goods in the mail.
